2016 OCSE Annual Report to Congress

The Office of Child Support Enforcement (OCSE) 2016 Annual Report to Congress highlights financial and statistical child support achievements based on data reported by state and tribal child support agencies. The content of the Annual Report is mandated by Section 452(a) under Title IV-D of the Social Security Act to give congressional members information that relates to the overall operations and success of the national child support program.

The Child Support Program made solid progress in its mission to increase family self-sufficiency and meet the needs of children and their families during FY 2016. These accomplishments are discussed further in the Highlights section of the report and supported by the data in the state and tribal program performance sections and the tables in the Appendix.
