A custodial parent must diligently pursue a claim for reimbursement of medical expenses or they can be barred by res judicata. A noncustodial parent can be found in civil contempt for failure to contribute to medical expenses if evidence supports the finding. In this case, the evidence showed multiple attempts to contact the non-custodial parent in multiple ways, calls, texts, email, and certified mail.
