New Contracts

YoungWilliams signed a contract with the Tennessee Department of Human Services to operate the child support program in the 20th Judicial District of Tennessee covering Nashville and Davidson County. On July 1, 2013, the firm will open its office at 44 Vantage Way in Nashville and begin managing the District’s nearly 40,000 cases. Veteran Project Manager Keith Baker will relocate from his current project in Knoxville, Tennessee (6th Judicial District) to head the Nashville office.

Keith has over 25 years’ experience in the child support program. The State has partnered with YoungWilliams since 2007, when YoungWilliams was awarded the contract to run the 6th Judicial District’s (Knox County) child support enforcement program. That office is now the top performing urban office in the State: over 85% of the child support cases have orders, a necessary first step toward collections of support. YoungWilliams also manages the programs for the 27th (Dresden) and 29th (Dyersburg) Judicial Districts. Under the direction of YoungWilliams, all have shown steady increases in performance and improved outcomes for children.

“We are very proud of our strong relationship with the Department, and will work closely with our state colleagues and the court system to serve the citizens of Davidson County,” stated Bob Johnson, President of Operations. “Our first order of business is to analyze the caseload, and identify the actions necessary to move each case forward.”

Incorporated in Mississippi in 1994, YoungWilliams has contracts with state and local governments to operate child support programs in eleven states.
