New Contracts

The Tennessee Department of Human Services (TN DHS) awarded YoungWilliams a five-year contract to provide child support services for approximately 5,500 cases in the 27th Judicial District covering Obion and Weakley Counties in West Tennessee.  YoungWilliams will begin delivering services on January 1, 2010.

This is YoungWilliams’ second contract with theTN DHS.  The company also operates a child support office in Knoxville that handles over 23,000 cases in the 6th Judicial District.

“We look forward to serving the families in the 27th Judicial District and building upon our existing partnership with the State,” commented Operations President Bob Johnson.  “We have a team in place to ensure a smooth transition from the current vendor and will be ready to open our doors on time with no disruption of services.”

In addition to operating the two offices, YoungWilliams is collaborating with the State on a federal Special Improvement Project (SIP) grant.  This project provides child support services to individuals entering and leaving one of Tennessee’s largest correctional facilities.  The goals of the grant are to improve offender compliance with child support orders, as well as ensure their successful re-entry into society.
