YoungWilliams Recognized as Top Private Company

Tuesday, January 15, 2008

YoungWilliams has been recognized by two prestigious organizations for its entrepreneurial growth. The Mississippi Business Journal included YoungWilliams in its 2007 Mississippi “Fast 40” as one of the forty fastest growing private companies in the State of Mississippi.

Inc.Com, a daily resource for entrepreneurs, lists YoungWilliams in its Inc., 5000 as one of the fastest growing private companies in America, and attributes its growth to its “ lean infrastructure to allow competitive bidding against larger, higher-overhead competitors.”

Chief Financial Officer James Lewis attributes the steady growth and financial strength of the company to “thoughtful planning, customer retention, reasonable pricing, and reputation as an outstanding partner to government.”

In 1993, Mississippi attorney Robert L. Wells founded the company to provide legal services for child support cases in two central Mississippi counties. YoungWilliams now provides services in seven states and has more than 365 employees, including a large legal staff and three former state child support directors.

President Wells summarized the business: “We are 100% devoted to partnering with government agencies to provide child support services in compliance with Title IV-D of the federal Social Security Act. We have no other lines of business and no other distractions. At YoungWilliams, we live and breathe child support. Everything we do is focused on improving child support operations.”
