New Partners: YoungWilliams Wins Contract in Craven County, NC

Craven County, North Carolina, has a new partner to assist its families with child support. YoungWilliams is thrilled to announce it will begin providing local services on July 1, 2021.

Tammy Pearson, YoungWilliams’ North Carolina Operations Manager, is hitting the ground running. “Craven County is a great fit for us,” she said. “I am excited to work with the employees and learn more about the office and its daily operations.”

Currently, the Craven County office serves almost 4,500 cases. Through March 2021, it has collected almost $7 million in child support. “YoungWilliams has some ideas and innovations to increase collections and provide excellent customer service,” said Pearson.

The physical location of the office isn’t changing. It will stay in its curren location at 403 George Street, #200, New Bern. “The office is centrally located, and customers know where to find us,” said Pearson. “We love being located in such a beautiful, historic district.”

YoungWilliams manages approximately 30,000 cases or about 8 percent of the North Carolina caseload. In the last year, YoungWilliams collected $62 million in child support for the state’s families The YoungWilliams serves the following counties: Beaufort, Bertie, Hertford, Hyde, Camden, Chowan, Currituck, Dare, Gates, Martin, New Hanover, Onslow, Pasquotank, and Perquimans.
