Bengston and Rutledge Elected to WICSEC Executive Team
The Western Interstate Child Support Council (WICSEC) recently elected two YoungWilliams leaders to its Executive Board. Lori Bengston and Ellen Rutledge now serve as the Association’s secretary and treasurer respectively.
Bengston initially joined the WICSEC Board of Directors in 2009, and has held prior executive positions with WICSEC, most recently completing a term as President in 2012. She is a nationally recognized presenter in the areas of customer service, call centers, early intervention, and outreach. Bengston has managed the Nebraska Statewide Child Support Customer Services Center for the past 14 years. She has also served on the Board of Directors of the National Child Support Enforcement Association (NCSEA), and is a past president of the Nebraska Child Support Enforcement Association. She currently chairs the NCSEA U, a professional development program geared toward future leaders in the child support community.
Rutledge, an attorney, managed YoungWilliams’ Wyoming Child Support Project for six years, and is currently a proposal writer in the corporate office. Rutledge has a J.D. from the University of Wyoming College of Law and a B.A. in journalism from the University of Missouri. Her areas of expertise include family law, child support and child welfare, and interstate jurisdiction. She is also a popular speaker at state, national, and regional conferences. Prior to joining YoungWillliams in 2008, Rutledge served as a Guardian ad Litem and Assistant Attorney General for the State of Wyoming.
Many members of the YoungWilliams team serve on boards and planning committees of national and state child support associations around the country. They also frequently asked to present at conferences on subject matter in their areas of expertise. YoungWilliams is a strong supporter of the child support community, and helps sponsor conferences and events throughout the year. See the YoungWilliams Events Calendar for more information.
