Legal Leadership

The Mississippi Business Journal presented an award to Rob Wells for his 2013 Leadership in Law. Each year, the Journal recognizes the top 40 Mississippi attorneys for “legal success and qualities of character…ability to inspire and lead others… and passion on behalf of clients and the community.” Wells received his award at the Journal’s annual banquet in January 2014.

Since its founding, Rob has been the President of YoungWilliams and has been instrumental in building the firm into one of the largest child support companies in the nation with over 1,100 employees in 11 states.

Wells graduated cum laude from Millsaps College and received his law degree from the University of Mississippi, School of Law. In 2011, he was recognized by the National Child Support Enforcement Association as its Private Sector Individual of the Year for advancing the lives of children. For over two decades, Wells has dedicated his professional career to the child support program.

Wells said, “As an attorney and head of our firm, the national child support program is my sole avocation. Each day I go to work and have the chance to improve the lives of children. What a way to spend a day!”
