Child support worksheets approved by the court shall be filed in every case where an order of child support is entered after the effective date of the Kansas Child Support Guidelines. Under the guidelines, social security benefits not attributable to the non-custodial parent cannot be used to offset a child support obligation. Also, Social security or other benefits as described as described should not be considered as income to a party whose income is used in determining a child support order under Kansas’ child support laws.
