YoungWilliams Recognized as a Top Ten Colorado Law Firm

12.04.2017

Congratulations (Promotions)

The American Institute of Family Law Attorneys recognized YoungWilliams’ El Paso County Child Support Services legal team as one of the top ten family law firms in the state of Colorado.  In order to qualify for this prestigious rating, a law firm must attain the highest degree of professional achievement in family law, and have an impeccable client satisfaction rating.

The firm operates under a contract with El Paso County to provide child support services in compliance with Title IV-D of the federal Social Security Act on behalf of the county.  This entails establishing paternity, and establishing, enforcing, and modifying child support obligations. The YoungWilliams’ legal team, headed by Christina Eigel, includes three staff attorneys and eight legal assistants.

A highly respected member of the Colorado child support and family law communities, Eigel received her Bachelor of Arts degree, summa cum laude, from the University of Connecticut and her Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from Boston College Law School.  She is past President of the Board of the Colorado Family Support Council and has served on the Board for over nine years. She served on the Colorado Child Support Commission from 2009 until 2016 and is a past president of the El Paso County Women Lawyer’s Association.  She is a frequent presenter at continuing legal education sessions and state child support conferences.

The YoungWilliams child support office, located in Colorado Springs, handles over 20,000 cases, and was recognized in 2015 by the State of Colorado for achieving record-breaking collections of over $50 million.  Regional Vice President, Jeff Ball, oversees YoungWilliams’ Colorado operations.  “We are honored to receive this recognition.  Christina, the legal staff, and our employees are among the best and brightest, and are dedicated to serving the citizens of El Paso County.”
